The Fort Hays State volleyball team wraps up a five-game road trip this weekend (Oct. 10-11) with a pair of in-state conference matches. The Tigers will first take on ninth-ranked Washburn on Friday at 6 p.m. in Topeka before battling Emporia State for the 100th time in series history on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Emporia.

The Tigers enter the weekend 13-4 overall and 2-3 in the MIAA, while the Ichabods are 15-1 on the year and 4-1 in conference play and the Hornets are 13-3 this season and 4-1 in league action. Fort Hays State has already surpassed its win total from last season, while the 13 wins so far this season match the team's high win total during the Jessica Wood-Atkins era.

Live video will be available for both matches via The MIAA Network on a pay-per-view basis. Fans can purchase access to a single broadcast for $15, a monthly recurring subscription for $35 and a year-long MIAA Network All-Access pass for $140. Live stats from Topeka will be available here, with live stats against ESU available here.

Fort Hays State ranks in the top half of the league in numerous statistical categories, including kills per set (fifth, 13.79), hitting percentage (fifth, .227), aces per set (fifth, 1.57) and digs per set (sixth, 16.03). Kirsten Evans already has 30 service aces this season, second-most in the conference, while her team-best 3.60 digs per set rank 13th in the league.
