KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Fort Hays State volleyball team has secured a second-straight trip to St. Joseph, Mo. for the MIAA Championship Tournament. At 16-12 overall and 5-11 in MIAA play, the Tigers finished the regular season eighth in the league standings to claim the final spot in the bracket.

The Tigers will face off with rival Nebraska-Kearney in the quarterfinal round on Thursday (Nov. 20) beginning at 5 p.m. The fifth-ranked Lopers finished in a three-way tie for the regular season title with No. 8 Washburn and No. 16 Missouri Western but came out with the top seed due to tiebreaking procedures. This is FHSU's sixth trip to the conference tournament since joining the MIAA in 2006, with the Tigers making consecutive trips to the tournament for the first time since 2015-16.
The Tigers' 16 wins are their most in a single season since 2016.

All-tournament tickets are available for $33, while daily tickets will cost $16 for adults, $11 for students and youth. Kids four and under will be admitted for free.
