KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fort Hays State University will be the site of the 2025 MIAA Softball Championship Tournament, set for April 30 through May 3 at Fleharty Family Field in Hays, Kansas. Fort Hays State earned the No. 9 seed for the tournament and will face No. 8 seed Emporia State on the first day of competition, Wednesday Apr. 30, at 3 p.m.
Fort Hays State had to win its final game of the regular season to punch its ticket into the 10-team single elimination tournament. The Tigers finished in a three-way tie for ninth in the conference standings with Nebraska-Kearney and Northwest Missouri State. FHSU and UNK both qualified for the tournament, while NWMSU fell short in the tiebreaker procedure applied to the tie.
