MANHEIM, Pa. – Fort Hays State Women's Wrestling had 10 individuals receive Scholar All-America status from the NWCA for the 2024-25 season. The group includes
Piper Cadden,
Hailey Conley,
Ashlynn Goodwin,
Jamie Laswell,
Lexie Lopez,
Lindsey Lopez,
Nichole Moore,
Isabell Ortiz,
Isabella Renfro, and
Dylen Ritchey.
To receive NWCA Scholar All-America status, student-athletes must meet one of the following academic and athletic criteria.
-A top-eight placer at nationals and at least a 3.0 Cumulative GPA.
-Competed in a minimum of 15 matches that are recorded in TRACKWRESTLING and has at least a 3.5 Cumulative GPA.
-A national qualifier and has at least a 3.25 Cumulative GPA.
Cadden, Conley, Goodwin, Laswell, Moore, Ortiz, Renfro, and Ritchey all were national qualifiers for the NCWWC Championships at the culmination of the 2024-25 season.
Lindsey Lopez also was a qualifier, but was unable to compete in the final event due to injury. Moore was the team leader in wins for the year with 31, while Renfro (29), Laswell (28), Goodwin (25),
Lexie Lopez (23),
Lindsey Lopez (20), and Ritchey (20) all recorded at least 20.
