The Fort Hays State men's and women's track and field teams open the 2026 outdoor season Friday (March 20) with the Spire Distance Carnival. Action is slated to begin at 7 p.m. in Leavenworth, Kan.

The Tigers will send 22 distance runners to compete in the 800m, 1,500m, 5,000m and 3,000m steeplechase. Results will be available
