2018-19 (Junior): Wrestled in the 141-pound class...Earned All-America honors with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships...Entered the NCAA Championships undefeated (24-0) and ranked No. 1 in the nation before finishing with an overall record of 28-2...Held the No. 1 national ranking individually from February 4 through the NCAA Championships...Claimed tournament titles at the Bethany Swede Open, FHSU Bob Smith Open, and the NCAA Super Region 4 Tournament...Went a perfect 12-0 in team dual matches...Reached the national semifinal match undefeated before losing a decision in overtime to Isaiah Royal of Newberry...Both losses at the NCAA Championships were in overtime...Named the MIAA Dual Meet Champion at 141 pounds by going 5-0 in MIAA duals...Named to the NWCA All-Academic Team...Earned MIAA Scholar-Athlete honors...CoSIDA Academic All-America selection for at-large sports...Named a finalist for the MIAA Ken B. Hoisington HS: Four-time state champion at Hoisington High School...Won state titles at 120, 126, 132, and 138 pounds with a career prep record of 163-3...No. 2 ranked wrestler overall in the state of Kansas at 138 pounds as a senior by USA Kansas Wrestling...Named the Kansas Class 3-2-1A Senior Wrestler of the Year in 2015...Runner-up at Rocky Mountain Nationals...State champion in pole vault (15’0”) for track and field as a senior in 2015.
