Grant Brown is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Fort Hays State football team. He will coach the tight ends for the second consecutive year.

Brown was a member of the Fort Hays State University football team for five years as a tight end and offensive lineman. Over his last two years with the Tigers, Brown played in all 22 games and started 20 of those contests at tight end. He was an All-MIAA Honorable Mention selection his senior year.

Brown played his prep career at Beloit High School, where he was an all-league selection on both offense and defense. He was an all-state selection in both football and basketball and a state medalist in track and field as a shot put thrower.

A native of Beloit, Kan., Brown graduated from Fort Hays State University in 2013 with a degree in Health and Human Performance, emphasis in teaching and coaching.
