Hunter Brown enters his third year as an assistant coach at Fort Hays State in 2025. He spent his first two years as a graduate assistant and will coach the cornerbacks for a second-straight year.
In 2024, Brown helped Kobe Rome become a two-time All-MIAA selection at cornerback. Rome tied for the team lead in interceptions in 2024 and had five over his final two seasons as a Tiger.
Brown was a member of the football team at Fort Hays State for five years from 2018 to 2022. He played in 31 games throughout his career, finishing with 34 tackles and a pair of interceptions as a defensive back. He earned his degree in Health and Human Performance at FHSU with an emphasis in teaching and coaching.
