Jake Kemp enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Fort Hays State football program in 2021. He will assist with the offense.
Kemp played his final two seasons of collegiate football at Concordia University in Nebraska. In his final season, he threw for 1,802 yards and eight touchdowns, completing 56 percent of his passing attempts. In 2018, Kemp produced 651 passing yards with five touchdowns, completing 59 percent of his attempts. In his first year out of high school, Kemp attended Texas Wesleyan University for a semester before transferring to Belhaven University in Mississippi for a semester.
A native of Decatur, Texas, Kemp earned a degree in Recreation and Sport Studies from Concordia University in 2019.
