Justin Schreiber enters his fourth season as the offensive coordinator for Fort Hays State in 2014. Schreiber also serves as coach of the Tiger quarterbacks.
Schreiber was hired by head coach Chris Brown after serving in the same capacity at the University of Minnesota, Crookston from 2008-10. He also spent two seasons coaching the defensive backs at UMC before taking over as the offensive coordinator.
In his time at Fort Hays State, Schreiber has helped coach 13 All-MIAA selections on offense, including five in 2013.
During the 2006 football season, Schreiber was the offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, and defensive backs coach at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School in Glyndon, Minn.Â
Prior to his position at DGF High School, Schreiber was a graduate assistant running backs coach at Washburn where he coached alongside FHSU head coach Chris Brown. Washburn went to the postseason during both of Schreiber's seasons on staff, winning the Mineral Water Bowl 36-33 over Northern State in 2004 and advancing to the second round of the NCAA II Playoffs in 2005 before falling to Northwest Missouri State.
Schreiber got his coaching start at UMC following a standout playing career. He served as a student assistant quarterback's coach for the 2003 season after being a three-year captain and starting quarterback for the Golden Eagles. He was also a three-time all-conference honorable mention selection and a pre-season Don Hanson Weekly Gazette All-American selection in 2002.Â
Schreiber received his bachelor's degree in Sports and Recreation Management from the University of Minnesota, Crookston in 2004 and partially completed a master's in Education Administration at Washburn. Schreiber and his wife Abby have three children, sons McKale and Easton and daughter Ava.
