Kyle Murphy is in his third year as an assistant coach at Fort Hays State in 2025. He will coach the tight ends for a second-straight year after serving as a graduate assistant coach his first year at FHSU.
Murphy helped Cale Cormaney to an All-MIAAÂ Second Team selection as a tight end in 2024. It was the second-straight year Cormaney earned an all-conference nod after an honorable mention selection the year prior.
Prior to his time at Fort Hays State, Murphy was a student assistant coach at Kansas State University for three years where he earned his BBA degree in marketing. He spent his first year of college as a member of the football team at Missouri Western State University. He is a native of Bucyrus, Kansas.
