L'liott Curry enters his first year as an assistant coach at Fort Hays State in 2026. He will be the wide receivers coach, while also serving as the team's travel coordinator.
Curry was previously a wide receivers coach at Henderson State University in Arkansas, where he coached for two seasons. He guided a pair of receivers to all-conference first team selections in his time there.
Curry was also a standout receiver at Henderson State, where he was a two-time NCAA Division II All-America selection. The Guthrie, Oklahoma native became just the second consensus All-America First Team selection in program history as a senior in 2021. In just two seasons and 23 total games, Curry caught 175 passes for 2,464 yards and 30 touchdowns. He finished his career ranked second all-time in school history in both receiving yards and touchdowns.
Curry is no stranger to the MIAA after playing his first three years collegiately at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he had 53 catches for 963 yards and 10 touchdowns. For his entire collegiate career, Curry finished with 228 receptions for 3,427 yards and 40 touchdowns.
Curry received his master's degree in Sports Administration from Henderson State in 2021.
