Smith Center HS: All-league selection at tight end and defensive end in 2012 and 2013...Team captain as a senior...Recorded 74 tackles, four sacks, and three fumble recoveries as a senior in 2013…On offense, recorded 160 receiving yards, eight catches and one touchdown in 2013…Four-sport letterwinner (football, basketball, wrestling and track and field)…State placer in the javelin for track and field.
