Ellis HS: Two-time all-state and three-time all-league selection…Played quarterback and served as the team’s kicker and punter…As a senior, threw for 2,190 yards on 156 completions with 28 touchdowns, while rushing 87 times for 278 yards and two touchdowns…Averaged 37.9 yards per punt over three years on 58 attempts…Made 34 PATs and two field goals over his last two years of high school, with his longest field goal being 42 yards.
