Blue Springs HS: All-state selection as a senior, recording 94 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, one sack, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. Named Defensive Player of the Week four times in 2012...Helped his team to the Missouri State Championship, while earning all-conference first team in the Suburban Big 6, was named to the Kansas City Star All-Metro Team, and Examiner All-Area Team.
