Drew Conners enters his third season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Fort Hays State in 2018-19. In two years with the program, he has helped the team to an overall record of 37-23, coaching one All-American and all-region player, as well as four all-conference selections.
Conners came to Fort Hays State after serving as an assistant men's basketball coach at Independence (Kan.) Community College for two years from 2014 to 2016, where he helped coach two all-conference performers.
A native of Centennial, Colorado, Conners graduated from the University of Colorado in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in history. He served as a student manager with the University of Colorado men's basketball team three seasons from 2011 to 2014.
