Aaron Fuller is in his third year as an assistant coach with the Tigers. He works with the combined-events, hurdles and jumps. Coach Fuller worked with vaulter Brady Tien breaking the outdoor pole vault record (17’) in route to All-American status in 2015. In his first two years he helped athletes hit NCAA II qualifying marks 11 times in 5 events. He also coached athletes to All-MIAA status 9 times. He has completed the USATF level 1 certification and holds a Specialist Certification in the Combined Events & Multi-Events from the USTFCCCA.
Fuller competed in track for Central College (Iowa) as a decathlete. He was a 4-time All-IIAC performer, twice in the pole vault and twice in the decathlon. He was once a conference champion in the pole vault. He is in the top ten at Central College in the pole vault and heptathlon. As a prep, Fuller was a 2-time state champion in the pole vault.
Fuller earned a Master’s Degree from Fort Hays State University in Health & Human Performance in 2016. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science & Physical Education from Central College, 2014.
He is also an Instructor in the HHP department at FHSU. He resides in Hays with his wife Courtney.Â
