Rhyann Brown begins her first season as assistant track and field coach at Fort Hays State University in 2025-26. She will primarily work with the multi-athletes and the throwers.
Brown concluded a decorated career as a Tiger in 2024, qualifying for four NCAA Division II National Championships in the javelin. She earned three All-Central Region honors and racked up 10 team points at the MIAA Championships in her career. Brown recorded a top toss of 159-10 (48.71m) as a junior at the 2023 Central Nebraska Challenge. She was named to the CSC Academic All-District team once in addition to four USTFCCCAÂ All-Academic Awards and seven appearances on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
A native of Osborne, Kan., Brown graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in health and human performance in the spring of 2024.
