Kelsie Jusko is in her third season as a Graduate Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Fort Hays State University. Jusko was a four-year letterwinner for Fort Hays State under head coach Tony Hobson from 2009-13.
Jusko has been instrumental in helping the Tigers to a record of 51-12 in her two years as an assistant. She helped FHSU to four consecutive 20-win seasons, two as a player and now two as a coach. She also helped FHSU to its first MIAA Regular Season Championship and the Central Regional Final of the NCAA Tournament in 2014-15.
Jusko, formerly Sorenson, played 95 games in her career at FHSU, making 51 starts. She made 33 three-point field goals and shot a solid 75.8 percent from the free-throw line in her career, scoring 314 points and pulling down 261 rebounds.
Jusko is a native of McPherson, Kan., and played high school ball at McPherson High School where she was a two-time all-state selection. She earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Fort Hays state University in 2013 and is pursuing a master's degree in Sport Administration. She is married to Eric Jusko, native of Winnetka, Calif., who played football at Fort Hays State.
