Biography

2013-14 (Junior):  Enjoyed one of the most significant statistical seasons in FHSU history, earning All-America Honorable Mention honors from Division II Bulletin and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association while being named First Team All-Central Region by Daktronics…For the second consecutive year, was named as the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year while earning All-MIAA First Team and All-Defensive team honors…Started all 29 games and averaging 16.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game…Led NCAA Division II in blocks per game (5.3) and blocks (155), breaking her own school record in those categories as well, while climbing to No. 7 on the career blocks list for NCAA Division II with 374 total swats…Posted 20 double-doubles on the season in points-rebounds, including two triple doubles (points, rebounds and assists), just the second and third triple-doubles for FHSU’s NCAA Division II history… Finished 2013-14 season ranked first in NCAA Division II in blocks and triple-doubles (two), fourth with 20 double-doubles, 12th with 11.2 rebounds per game and 20th in field goal percentage (.554).

2012-13 (Sophomore): All-MIAA First Team selection and MIAA Defensive Player of the Year…Started all 29 games for the Tigers…Shattered her previous school record for blocks in a season with 123 (No. 21 all-time for single-season in NCAA Division II)…Set new mark for single-season blocks in MIAA…Let team with 16.4 points per game (475 total)…Hit on team-high 51.8 percent of her field goals…Pulled down 243 rebounds…Broke the career blocks record after an eight-block night at Pittsburg State (1/19/13)…In first game of season against McPherson, had nine blocks and 19 points…Season-high points mark came on Jan. 1 at Emporia State (25)…Earned second FHSU letter.

2011-12 (Freshman): All-MIAA Third Team selection...Played in all 29 games and started 11 contests, averaging 20.7 minutes per contest...Ranked second on the team in scoring (10.7 ppg) and rebounding (7.1 rpg)...Led the team in field goal percentage (.504) and blocked shots (96)...Ranked second on the team in free-throw attempts (118) and third in free-throws made (71)...Ranked fourth on the team in assists with 28...Set new FHSU single-season record for blocked shots in a season with 96, shattering the old mark by 32...Scored a season-high 28 points and pulled down a season-high 17 rebounds at Missouri Southern...Recorded eight double-doubles for the season in points and rebounds...Reached double figures in scoring 15 times and double figures in rebounds eight times...Put in a season high 13 field goals at Missouri Southern...Hit a season-high eight free-throws in two games and had a season-high 12 free-throw attempts at Missouri Western...Reached a season-high eight blocked shots against Lincoln and Truman...Had a season-high two steals at Washburn...Dished out a season-high five assists at Missouri Western...Played a season-high 38 minutes against Lincoln...Earned first FHSU letter.

Newton HS (Class of 2011): Kansas Class 5A All-State First Team selection in 2010-11 at Newton High School...Averaged 15.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.1 blocked shots per game in her final year of high school...Was the Co-Arkansas Valley Chisholm Trail League Player of the Year with FHSU teammate Logan Antenen in 2011...An all-state honorable mention selection as a junior and has garnered all-league honors three times...As a junior, she averaged 15.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 5.5 blocks per game.
