Chris Jones

Christopher Jones enters his third year as an assistant coach at Fort Hays State University in 2015. Jones has helped guide the Tigers to a record of 20-13-5 over two years, including the team's highest-ever finish in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association standings in 2014.

Jones has helped coach 11 All-MIAA selections at Fort Hays State, including a program-best eight in 2014. He also helped FHSU gain three Daktronics All-Central Region selections in 2014.

Jones previously served as the head coach and President of the University of Oklahoma Men's Soccer Club from 2010-12. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in the spring of 2013 with a degree in Sociology after transfering from Northeastern State University, where he was a goalkeeper for the men's team from 2007-2009.

He has a wide range of experience, including spending time as a practice player for the University of Oklahoma women's team, which featured the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.

Jones is a native of Tulsa, Okla., where he attended Bishop Kelley HIgh School and was part of the Tulsa Nationals Club Soccer team from 2000-07.Â
