Jacob Dunnett

Jacob Dunnett is in his second season as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Fort Hays State. Dunnett comes to FHSU after graduating from Houghton College in New York. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration with minors in Data Science and Communications. Dunnett has his USSF National F and NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 1 licenses. Dunnett will be working with multiple aspects of the women’s soccer program here at FHSU

Dunnett was a part of the 2017 USL Premier Development League National Champions, Charlotte Eagles. He spent three seasons with the Eagles from 2015-2017.

At Houghton College, Dunnett played and started all 80 games of his 4-year career. He has program records of 31 shutouts and the longest time period without conceding a goal (576 minutes). As a freshman, Dunnett earned Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year and appeared on Conference First and Second Teams for all four years. In 2016, he was named to the NCCAA All-American 3rd Team.

Before Houghton, Dunnett was a part of the Canadian National Training Centre for the Atlantic Division from 2010-2012. From 2008 to 2013, he was on New Brunswick Provincial teams and also competed for NB at the 2013 Canada Games.

Throughout the past three summers, Dunnett also coached at his home club, Fundy Soccer Association, and served as the club’s goalkeeper coach at every age level.

Originally from Quispamsis, New Brunswick, Canada, Dunnett looks to bring his playing and coaching experience here to the Fort Hays State women’s soccer program.
