Kelly Meyer is in her eighth year on the track and field coaching staff in 2025-26 and is in her second season as a full-time assistant coach. She previously spent three seasons as an assistant coach responsible for sprints, two years as a graduate assistant and one year as a volunteer assistant.

She previously competed for the Tigers as a sprinter from 2015-18, earning two All-American honors in the 400m dash and earning three All-MIAA honors, including a conference title in the 2018 indoor distance medley relay.

Meyer is a two-time graduate of Fort Hays State University’s Department of Health and Human Performance, completing a bachelor’s degree in 2019 before finishing her master’s degree in 2021. Formerly Kelly Wycoff, Meyer resides in Hays with her husband and fellow former Tiger Brett Meyer and their son, Judah.
