Emilee Lane begins her first season as a graduate assistant for the Fort Hays State volleyball team in 2026.
A native of Hays, Lane was an All-American outside hitter at the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She appeared in 98 matches between 2022 and 2025, reaching double figures in kills 48 times. Lane totaled 865 kills (2.99 per set), a .245 attack percentage, 218 digs (0.75 per set), 98 blocks (0.34 per set) and 933.5 points (3.23 per set) in her career. She earned All-MIAA status twice, claiming second team status as a junior and first team honors as a senior while earning honorable mention All-America recognition from the AVCA in 2025. Maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA, Lane earned the MIAA Excellence Award four times and added a pair of MIAA Scholar-Athlete Awards while also earning CSC Academic All-America honors as a senior.
Lane graduated summa cum laude from UNK with a bachelor's degree in sport and rec management in 2026.
