Jocelyn DeMotte enters her second year as a graduate assistant coach at Fort Hays State in 2015. DeMotte came to FHSU after finishing her playing career at Missouri S&T.

DeMotte played the 2011 and 2012 seasons with Missouri S&T as a defensive specialist, earning Second Team All-Region and First Team All-GLVC honors in 2011, and All-GLVC West Division Team honors in 2012. DeMotte led the team with 620 digs in 2012, and 572 digs in 2011.

Prior to Missouri S&T, DeMotte played two seasons at Emporia State University, making NCAA postseason appearances twice with the Hornets.  Â

A native of Topeka, Kan., DeMotte earned her bachelor’s degree in Business and Management Systems from Missouri S&T in 2012, and is pursuing a master’s degree in Health and Human Performance at FHSU.
