Sabrina Hallahan begins her first season as graduate assistant for the Fort Hays State volleyball team in advance of the 2016 season.
Hallahan comes to FHSU after competing at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kan. for two seasons. The outside hitter knocked down 100 kills in her career with the Coyotes, adding 157 digs and 19 total blocks on the defensive side. Hallahan played in 33 matches as a senior, helping KWU reach the finals of the KCAC Tournament. For her work in the classroom, Hallahan picked up Academic All-KCAC honors twice while being named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete after her senior season.

Hallahan began her collegiate career at North Platte CC in North Platte, Neb. She played two seasons for the Knights, helping her squad finish second in the region both years. Hallahan earned All-Tournament honors for her performance in the Region IX Division II Postseason Tournament as a sophomore. She tallied 303 kills, 454 digs, 31 blocks and 38 service aces during her tenure at North Platte.

A native of Brush, Colo., Hallahan earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science emphasizing in Personal Training from Kansas Wesleyan University in the spring of 2016.
