2015-16 (Freshman): Wrestled in both the 197 lb and 285 lb classes...Finished the season with a 21-10 overall record (7-2 vs Division II) at 197 and a 7-3 overall record (2-0 vs Division II) at 285...4th place finish at the Swede Open...Runner-up at the UCM Open...Luther College Open Champion...4th place finish at the Harold Nichols Cyclone Open...6th place finish at the UNK Holiday Inn Loper Open...4th place finish at the Roger Denker Open...3rd place finish at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open. 

Nixa HS: Lance comes from Nixa High School in Nixa, Mo., where he was a two-time state placer...He was the state champion as a senior at 220 pounds and took fifth as a junior and 182 pounds...He finished his senior year with a record of 56-1...He took second at the Kansas City Stampede National Tournament, took seventh at Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and won the Southern Plains Freestyle tournament this summer in Dodge City...He is projected to wrestle at 197 pounds at FHSU.
