Cassie Mettling serves as an Associate Athletic Trainer at Fort Hays State University.
Mettling started her Athletic Training education at the University of Kansas from 2009-2014, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree. Following her time at KU, Cassie continued her education at Emporia State University where she obtained her master's in Health, Physical Education & Recreation, while working as a graduate assistant (2014-2016) with the women’s basketball team, volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis and teaching classes.
After graduating from Emporia State, Cassie accepted an Assistant Athletic Training job at Henderson State University where she worked for three years (2016-2019) with volleyball, women’s tennis, women’s cross country and softball. She then moved to Hays to work with Fort Hays State women's soccer and softball for three years.
Mettling currently works with women’s basketball, cross country and track and field.
