Madyson Schliep enters her first year as Director of Creative Content and New Media for Fort Hays State Athletics in 2026-27. She oversees creative content and digital media for the athletic department across its social and digital platforms.
Schliep came to Fort Hays State from Adams State University, where she served as the Sports Information Director for two years overseeing communications for 18 NCAA Division II sports. While at Adams State, Schliep devoted a significant amount of her time to creative content. She also supervised and trained student assistants in various media and technical roles.
Prior to landing the role of sports information director at Adams State, Schliep was an athletic marketing graduate assistant at Chadron State College, another NCAA Division II institution. At Chadron State, she helped execute social media campaigns, designed graphics, and contributed to the daily athletic media relations operation following her career as a track and field student-athlete. A Grand Island, Nebraska native, Schliep earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees at Chadron State.
