Moses Dayee earned Athlete of the Week honors for his performance in a 83-64 win over Northwest Missouri State on Saturday. The win improved the Tigers' record to 9-1 on the season and 3-1 in the MIAA, which ties FHSU for second behind 4-1 Missouri Southern.
Dayee, who was playing in his first game this season, scored a game-high 19 points in 20 minutes off the bench. The senior guard was red-hot from 3-point range, hitting 5-of-6 3-point attempts. He finished 7-of-9 in the game from the field and added three assists and one rebound in his first game back.
The Tigers, who are ranked No. 15 in the latest polls, are now 9-1 on the season and 3-1 in the MIAA. The Tigers take to the road for their next two games on Jan. 2 at Truman and Jan. 4 at Central Missouri.
