Alex Whitehill led the Fort Hays State defense with 13 tackles (6 solo, 7 assisted) in Saturday's 38-21 loss against Pittsburg State.

Whitehill, a junior from McPherson, Kan., has started all eight games for the Tigers at linebacker this season and leads the team in tackles with 88 (42 solo, 46 assisted). He also has recorded one interception. Whitehill is currently the second leading tackler in the MIAA.
