Fort Hays State went 2-0 last week with a double overtime victory (99-92) over Emporia State and a overtime victory (87-85) over Washburn. In those games, Dwayne Brunson averaged 21.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per outing while shooting 50.0 percent (12-of-24) from the field. Additionally, the forward swatted four shots and had two steals in 73 total minutes played (36.5 per game).

Brunson came up big against Washburn in overtime, hitting a jumper from the top of the key with just 0.3 seconds remaining in overtime to seal the victory for FHSU and push the Tigers winning streak to 10 games.
