A redshirt-freshman from Goddard, Kan., Mitchell Means won the 149-pound weight class this past weekend (Nov. 7) at the Dan Harris Open hosted by Baker University. Means posted three first period falls on his way to the championship match. Two of those falls occurred in less than one minute.

In the championship match, he defeated Jarell Price of Baker University by a score of 7-1. He finished 4-0 in the tournament.
