Yantz had an outstanding performance in the NCAA Central Regional Final match against Lindenwood, helping Fort Hays State to its third consecutive regional championship. He posted a shutout with six saves as Fort Hays State won 1-0 in overtime. He made a few amazing saves in regulation to keep the the Lions scoreless and give FHSU the opportunity to win the game in overtime.

Yantz helped the Tigers to their third straight appearance in the national quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
