Baylie Schmitz wrapped up her junior season at Fort Hays State helping the Tigers to their best season in women's soccer history. The Tigers set a record for wins with 15, recorded the first ever postseason victory, and were MIAA Co-Champions for the regular season. Schmitz was a huge part in the Tiger's success anchoring a stifling defense that allowed just 0.65 goals per game.
She ranked fourth on the team in minutes played with 1880 during the course of the season.

For her hard work, Schmitz was chosen as a selection to the All-MIAA First Team and D2CAA All-Central Region Second Team, and this past week picked up her second All-Region honor as she was selected to the NSCAA All-Central Region Second Team as well.
