Box Score The Fort Hays State volleyball team continued their three-game road trip on Friday night (Nov. 11) at Emporia State. The Tigers kept each set close but were unable to take one, falling in straight sets (20-25, 24-26, 24-26).
 
Madison Schwartz and Jenna Ulrich led the Tigers with 11 kills apiece. Tracie Hileman had 16 digs to lead the team while Sara Hewson added 12. A huge advantage for the Hornets was at the net where Emporia State had nine total blocks to just four for Fort Hays State. Both teams had 49 kills for the match, but FHSU had 22 hitting errors compared to 16 for ESU.
 
Fort Hays State drops to 17-15 on the year and 5-12 in the MIAA heading into the regular season finale on Saturday at No. 7 Central Missouri. The match is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
 
Emporia State improves their record to 21-9 and 13-4 in the MIAA.
