The women's soccer team returns home tonight for their first home game in almost two weeks after a three-game road trip. The Tigers host Emporia State tonight at 6 p.m. at the FHSU Soccer Stadium. Although both teams are in the MIAA, tonight's game is a non-conference matchup.
The Tigers are looking to get back on track after a disappointing time on the road. FHSU fell in all three road games by the identical score of 2-1 for each game. The Tigers record is now 1-3 on the season, their first in school history.
The Hornets come to Hays with a 0-2-2 record. Emporia State has dropped their two games to East Central and Northwestern Oklahoma State, while their two ties are against Wayne State and SW Oklahoma State. The Hornets have struggled to score goals, tallying two scores in their four games.
The conference game between FHSU and ESU happens on Oct. 6 in Emporia, Kan. at 4 p.m.
