For the second straight night, the Fort Hays State volleyball team dropped a conference road match, falling at Missouri Western on Saturday (Sept. 17). The Tigers lost in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 26-24, 25-21.

For the match, Fort Hays State put down only 29 kills with a hitting percentage of .162. Madison Schwartz led the Tigers with nine kills, while Kylee Hoagland added seven. Tracie Hileman had a team-high 21 digs, followed by Sara Hewson with 12 and Hoagland added five blocks (one solo, four assist).

Fort Hays State moves to 6-5 on the year, but are still winless in the MIAA at 0-3. They will be at home on Monday (Sept. 19) to play a doubleheader against Bethany (Kan.) College. The first match will start at 5:00 pm.
