The Fort Hays State University women's soccer team closes out the home portion of its 2013 schedule on Friday (Oct. 25) with a 7 p.m. matchup against Lindenwood. FHSU's lone senior,
Amanda Talbott, will be honored prior to the game for Senior Night.
The Tigers (6-7-3, 2-4-3 MIAA) have tallied nine team points and sit 10th in the standings, just one game out of the final qualifying position for the MIAA Tournament. The top eight teams in the conference qualify, and just two MIAA matches remain for FHSU.
Lindenwood (8-5-1, 5-1-1 MIAA) is currently second in the conference standings with 16 team points.
Dani Harris leads the offense with 10 points (four goals, two assists) while Talbott and
Kylee Loneker each have three goals and two assists (eight points).
Nicole Barnaba has started 11 games (appearing in 12) at goalie, saving 49 shots while allowing just 13 goals.
FHSU closes out its 2013 campaign in Kearney, Neb., on Nov. 1 at Nebraska Kearney.
