Six From Women’s Soccer Receive CSC Academic All-District Honors

Fort Hays State had six members of its women's soccer team receive College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for the 2025 season. This award honors a combination of academic and athletic accomplishments of the individuals selected.

Earning the honor for FHSU Women's Soccer this year were Megan Wiman, Sydney Cotter, Makenzie Hood, Chaley French, Taylor Hill, and Payton Porter. Wiman and Cotter are repeat selections. Wiman is a three-time recipient of the award, while Cotter earned it for a second-straight year.

To be considered for Academic All-District selection, an individual must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better, and compete in 90 percent of the team's contests or start at least 66 percent of contests at the time of nomination. French was the second-leading scorer for the Tigers in 2025 as a forward. She finished the year with six goals, which accounted for all 12 of her points.
