The Fort Hays State University women's soccer team heads north to Kearney, Neb., this weekend for its season finale - a match that will likely impact MIAA playoff positioning.  The Tigers currently hold the eighth and final qualifying position for the MIAA postseason, and will face off with Nebraska-Kearney on Friday at 7 p.m.
 
The Tigers (7-7-3, 3-4-3 MIAA) have outscored opponents 7-1 over the past two matches and boast a strong defensive lineup that has allowed just 19 goals this season.  UNK (7-8-2, 4-4-2 MIAA) is tied for the sixth spot in the conference standings and has allowed 20 goals for the year.
 
Offensively, FHSU's Amanda Talbott and Dani Harris lead the team with 10 points (four goals, two assists) apiece, followed closely by three Tigers with eight points:  Kyle Loneker (three goals, two assists), Hailey Davey (two goals, four assists) and Hannah Jurgens (two goals, four assists).
