Fort Hays State continues its quest for a second-straight trip to the NCAA Playoffs on Saturday (Oct. 27) when it hosts Lindenwood University. Kickoff is set for 2 pm at Lewis Field Stadium in Hays. The Tigers enter at 6-2 overall, ranked No. 7 in the first set of Super Region 3 rankings, while the Lions enter at 3-5.

Chris Brown looks to become the all-time leader in coaching wins at Fort Hays State, currently tied with Bob Cortese for most in school history with 55. He has guided the Tigers to five consecutive winning seasons and a win on Saturday could assure the sixth in a row.

The Tigers are coming off a 29-26 double-overtime win at Nebraska-Kearney last week. Lindenwood fell at home to Northwest Missouri State by a score of 38-17. Fort Hays State defeated Lindenwood 38-35 last year in St. Charles, which was the second-closest margin the Tigers won by in their undefeated regular season. The closest was the 13-12 win at Northwest Missouri State to clinch the MIAA title.

Jacob Mezera continues to push his school record for career passing yards further, now with 7,277. For the season, he has 1,900 passing yards and 14 touchdowns.
Chance Fuller, who usually enters at quarterback every third possession for the Tigers, has 346 passing yards for the season with a touchdown.
D.J. Hickman made his second start at running back last week and recorded his first    100-yard rushing game as a Tigers, going for 111 yards at Nebraska-Kearney.

The Tigers have three targets receiving the ball that surround the 500-yard mark for the season.
Layne Bieberle leads the team with 518 receiving yards, while
Harley Hazlett has a team-high 46 receptions for 494 yards. From his tight end position,
Matt Wendelberger has 478 receiving yards for the season.

Jose Delgado became the career tackles leader in Fort Hays State's NCAA Division II history last week, now with 364 in his career. He leads the Tigers with 79 tackles for the season, averaging 9.9 per game.
Connor Shedeed has a team-high three interceptions,
Sterling Swopes leads in sacks with 4.5, and
Wyatt Parker leads in forced fumbles with four.
