Fort Hays State Men's Soccer looks to extend its 2021 spring season one more week when it hosts Northeastern State in the GAC Tournament Semifinals on Saturday (Apr. 10) at FHSU Soccer Stadium. The match begins at 1 pm. Winner of the match moves on to the GAC Tournament Finals on Saturday, April 17.

The Tigers are the No. 2 seed in the four-team tournament, while the RiverHawks are the No. 3 seed. On the other side of the bracket, No. 1 seed Rogers State hosts No. 4 seed Southern Nazarene. The highest seed remaining after Saturday's semifinal matches will host the final on April 17.
 
Fort Hays State meets Northeastern State for the second time this spring. The Tigers defeated the RiverHawks 2-1 in Hays two weeks ago on March 26. Both teams finished with four wins in the spring, FHSU at 4-1-1 and NSU at 4-2.
 
Blake Arndt led the Tigers in goals in their brief six-game schedule leading up to the GAC Tournament. He has five and leads the team in points with 10.

Antonio De La Torre, and 
Taisei Arima all have two or more goals this season as well. 
Kieran Brown has shouldered the majority of the work in goal, playing 515 of 560 possible minutes this season. He has an 0.52 goals against average and .880 save percentage.
 
The Tigers average 2.17 goals per match, while limiting opponents to just 0.83 per match. FHSU held opponents to one goal or less in five of six matches so far this season, while posting three shutouts.
