The Fort Hays State women's soccer team will host a pair of MIAA matches this week as Missouri Southern comes to Hays on Friday (Oct. 14) for a 6 p.m. kickoff. Fifth-ranked Central Missouri on Sunday at 2 p.m.
Fort Hays State (8-0-6, 3-0-4 MIAA) is fresh off of a pair of ties with Northeastern State and Rogers State, 0-0 and 1-0. The Tigers have outscored opponents 16-6 this season. They still have allowed the fewest goals in the MIAA. Hannah Mares and Montserrat Diaz continue to lead the team in scoring with four goals apiece, followed by Gracen Chaney and Britney Arneson who each have two goals. Isabel Robben continues to lead the conference in goals against average (.432) and save percentage (.880). 
Missouri Southern (1-11-1, 1-5-1 MIAA) fell 3-0 to Emporia State in its most recent matchup. The Lions have scored 10 goals so far this season, while averaging ten shots per match. FHSU leads the all-time series against MSSU 6-2-3 after a 1-0 win last season in Joplin.
No. 5 ranked Central Missouri (12-1-1, 6-1 MIAA) defeated Washburn 2-0 in its last contest. The Jennies have outscored opponents 39-15 so far this season, while averaging almost 16 shots per match. UCM leads the all-time series 13-2 after defeating FHSU 3-2 (OT) in the first round of last season's MIAA Tournament.
