The Fort Hays State women's soccer team once again takes their unbeaten record on the road as they travel to Wichita on Friday (Sep. 30) to take on Newman University at 7 p.m. before heading to Edmond, Okla. to take on Central Oklahoma on Sunday (Oct. 2) at 1 p.m.

Fort Hays State (7-0-3, 2-0-1 MIAA) picked up its sixth and seventh shutouts of the season against Northwest Missouri State and Missouri Western last week on the road, each by the score of 1-0. The Tigers have 12 goals this season and have allowed a conference-low four. Montserrat Diaz leads the Tigers with four goals and Hannah Mares is right behind with three. Isabel Robben holds the top mark in the MIAA in save percentage (.900) and shutouts (6).
Newman (0-9-1, 0-3 MIAA) fell 5-0 to nationally ranked Central Missouri in their most recent match. The Jets have scored eight goals so far this season, while averaging seven shots per match. The Tigers lead the all-time series 4-0 after a 2-0 win over the Jets in Hays last season.
Central Oklahoma (7-1-2, 2-1), ranked No. 11 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll, defeated Missouri Southern 3-1 in its most recent match. The Bronchos have outscored opponents 22-9 so far this season and average almost 14 shots per match. UCO leads the series 9-4-1 all-time and won the most recent meeting with FHSU 2-1 in Hays last year.
