Fort Hays State Women's Soccer hosts Washburn on Sunday (Oct. 27) at 2 p.m. for its last regular season home contest of 2024. The Tigers are currently 6-4-4 overall and 3-3-2 in conference action, while the Ichabods enter with a record of 9-2-2 overall and 6-0-1 in the MIAA. The Tigers are coming off a scoreless draw with No. 20 ranked Missouri Western.
Taylor Hill leads the Tigers with nine points, producing four goals and one assist for the season.
Allison Worley has eight points with three goals and two assists.
Sullivan Kelly leads the team in assists with three.
The Ichabods are tied for second place in the MIAA standings with 19 points and remain unbeaten in MIAA play. The lone conference tie for the Ichabods was with Central Oklahoma. The Tigers lead the all-time series with a record of 12-8-2, but have lost the last three matches against the Ichabods. The last win against the Ichabods was in 2022 in Hays by a score of 1-0. Last year, Washburn made it to the national title match in the NCAA Tournament, where it fell to Point Loma.
The Tigers will play their final three regular season contests on the road in their quest to secure a spot in the 8-team MIAA Tournament.
