Fort Hays State had six members of its women's soccer team receive College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for the 2024 season. This award honors a combination of academic and athletic accomplishments of the individuals selected.
 
Earning the honor for FHSU Women's Soccer this year were Chelsea Bowen, Mackenzie Caldwell, Gracen Chaney, Sydney Cotter, Kenzee Godwin, and Megan Wiman, who is the only repeat selection this year.

To be considered for Academic All-District selection, an individual must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better, and compete in 90 percent of the team's contests or start at least 66 percent of contests at the time of nomination. A school can have a maximum of six selections for soccer, so FHSU reached the maximum allowed for the second-straight year.
 
Bowen played and started in 15 matches during her first year with the Tigers. She played 1,238 minutes as a defender. Both of the shots she took were on target. Bowen is a Health and Human Performance major at FHSU and holds a cumulative GPA of 3.87.
 
Caldwell, a graduate transfer playing in her only season at FHSU, started all 18 matches she played in goal for the Tigers, logging 1560 minutes between the pipes. She finished the year with 85 saves, an .817 save percentage, a 1.10 goals against average, and six shutouts. She was an All-MIAA Third Team selection at goalkeeper this season. Caldwell held a 3.95 undergraduate GPA as a Management major at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She holds a 4.0 GPA in her Master's program in Business Administration.
 
Chaney played and started 18 matches for the Tigers this season. She recorded seven points with two goals and three assists (tied for the team lead). Both of her goals were directly off corner kicks. Six of her eight shots taken for the year were on target and she had one game-winning goal. She had the most points among defenders on the team. Chaney holds a 3.66 cumulative GPA as a Health and Human Performance major at FHSU.
 
Cotter played and started all 19 matches in her first season at FHSU. She recorded four goals for the season and led the team in shots (42) and shots on goal (19). She ranked fourth on the team in minutes played with 1,573. She made the only penalty kick taken by the Tigers for the season. Cotter is a Health and Human Performance major at FHSU with a 3.88 cumulative GPA.
 
Godwin played in all 19 matches in 2024 and made 15 starts in her first year at FHSU, collecting one goal and one assist for the season as a forward. Her one goal was a game winner and she played 1,127 minutes for the season. Godwin holds a 3.85 cumulative GPA as a Biology major at FHSU.
 
Wiman is the only repeat academic all-district selection for the Tigers from last year. As a defender, she led the team in minutes played with 1,615. She recorded one assist for the season and both of the shots she took were on target. She started 17 of the 19 matches she played in. Wiman holds a 3.73 GPA as a Health and Human Performance major at FHSU.
 
Also of note, two of Fort Hays State's current players were CSC Academic All-District selections from previous seasons, but unfortunately did not meet the percentage of matches played/started criteria to be eligible for the award. Emily Hutchings and Kintzli Wagner both had their seasons abbreviated by injuries. Hutchings was a two-time recipient of the Academic All-District award (2022 and 2023), while Wagner earned it in 2023 in her first year at FHSU.
