Tiger track and field continues the 2024 outdoor season at a trio of meets this weekend, with FHSU student-athletes competing at the 96th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays (March 28-29), the WashU Distance Carnival (March 29) and the Central Nebraska Challenge (March 30).

Four Tigers will head to Texas with
Taylor Savolt and
Maggie Remsberg competing in three events including hurdles and sprints.
Maayan Paz will compete Thursday (March 28) in the 400mH and
Ethan Salmans will run the 110mH and 100m Friday (March 29).

The groupt at the WashU Distance Carnival includes seniors
Trever Medina,
Ethan Lang and
Aaron Mangan taking on the 800m, with a legion of Tiger men gearing up for the 5,000m.
Faith Little and a squad of nine Tiger women are prepared to showcase their endurance in the 1,500m and 5,000m events.
Jaycee Vath is running her first 5,000m race since she won the MIAA Indoor Championships in the same event last month. Senior
Regan Hodsden is set to race in the 5,000m, along with sophomores
Ashlyn Harbaugh and
Darian Hudgeons.

The rest of the team will head to Nebraska, including sprint and field athletes. Leading the charge in the sprint events are
Toby Wahlmeier and
Tori Poe, boasting top-seeded times in both the 100m and 200m.
Reba Mader enters with the top seeded time in the women's 400m as she tries to get another win under her belt.

In the pole vault, Fort Hays State is sending a formidable squad of seven athletes, five men and two women. Among them, recent indoor All-Americans
Jacob Clark and
Annabeth Baalmann stand out, with Clark holding the top seed in the men's pole vault. Freshman sensations
Jayme Hagerman and
Keamonie Archie are ready to make waves in the long jump, entering the competition with the highest entry marks. Meanwhile, the throwers are primed for another impressive weekend, led by
Liberty Booker in the women's hammer throw and shot put events.
