Fort Hays State Women's Soccer is set for its first road trip of the season as it travels to Sioux Falls, S.D. this weekend for a pair of matches. The Tigers face Augustana on Friday (Sept. 13) evening at 5 p.m., then take on Southwest Minnesota State on Sunday (Sept. 15) at 12 p.m. Both matches are at Morstad Field, home of Augustana soccer. Live stats and stream will be available for both matches.
 
Fort Hays State is 0-1-1 on the season after a pair of home matches against CSU-Pueblo and Rockhurst. The Tigers netted a goal in each match, but came up on the short end in a 2-1 result with Rockhurst. Emily Hutchings and Gracen Chaney are the two Tigers with goals so far this season. Goalkeeper Mackenzie Caldwell leads the MIAA in saves with 15 for the season.
 
Augustana is 1-1 on the season after a pair of matches on the road against MIAA members Central Missouri and Rogers State. The Vikings fell to nationally ranked UCM 4-2, but bounced back for a 1-0 victory against RSU The Tigers and the Vikings went head-to-head a year ago and the game ended in a 0-0 draw in Hays. The Tigers are 1-1-3 in the series against the Vikings.
 
Southwest Minnesota State is 0-2 on the season after neutral site matches with West Florida and Emporia State in Mankato, Minn. last week. They host 2023 national finalist and MIAA member Washburn on Friday at home in Marshall before heading over to Sioux Falls on Sunday to face the Tigers. FHSU owns a five-match winning streak in the series.
 
This trip starts a run of six-straight matches for FHSU away from home, which will last through the end of the month. FHSU will not be back at home until October 4.
