2025 Fort Hays State University Men's and Women's Wrestling Black and Gold Scrimmage

The Fort Hays State men's and women's wrestling teams will kick off the lead up to their 2025-26 season with the annual Black and Gold Scrimmage Saturday evening (Oct. 18) inside Gross Memorial Coliseum. The first matchup is slated to begin at 6 p.m.

This year's event is scheduled to have 25 matches, including 13 featuring the men's team and 12 bouts for the women's team.

Admission is free for all fans attending in person. Those unable to attend can watch the event live via
The MIAA Network. The event will be on two mats this year, one for the men and one for the women. Separate streams will be available. A single broadcast purchase is available for $15, a monthly recurring subscription for $30 and a year-long MIAA Network All-Access pass for $140.

The men's team is entering its sixth season under head coach
Erik Wince. The Tigers have 34 student-athletes on their roster this year.

This will be the first year of women's wrestling being an NCAA championship sport. Head coach
Alijah Jeffery is in his third year leading the team. There are 35 women competing for the Tigers this year.
